It is well known that Gabrielle Chanel did not like the watches of women of her time, judging them too precious to be functional.

This J12 quartz model perfectly illustrates this search for a balance between refinement, sportiness and sobriety. Carved in black ceramic, this Chanel J12 watch is an icon of the 21st century.

Gabrielle Chanel judged the women's watches of her time as illegible jewellery. The J12 watch created in 2000 by Jacques Helleu emancipates and renews the codes of traditional watchmaking
